Hello!
Meet Dr. Janine Bower
Leader in Integrated Learning Design, Applied Learning, and Future Readiness
I’m a sociologist, educator, and learning strategist who loves designing experiences that help people grow—whether that means expanding their capacity for learning, strengthening their leadership, or finding the confidence to translate their skills into real-world impact. My work sits at the intersection of higher education, industry partnerships, and organizational leadership development, and I’ve had the privilege of supporting learners across many disciplines as they build their abilities and carry their growth into new opportunities.
Throughout my career, I’ve been recognized for innovative work in experiential learning, assessment, and teaching excellence. I’ve received awards for advancing student learning, supporting faculty development, and contributing to institutional improvement—honors that reflect how deeply I care about effective, empowering education.
I’ve built my career across tenured professorship, tutoring, faculty leadership, and consulting, collaborating with colleges, employers, educational technology teams, and leadership organizations to design experiences and pathways that bridge academic learning with future readiness.
At the heart of everything I do is a simple philosophy: learning should make people feel valued, supported, and capable. Inclusivity and empowerment guide my approach, and I’m committed to ensuring that every learner—no matter their background or starting point—has the tools, encouragement, and structure needed to succeed.
Ready to make learning visible, valued, and transferable for your learners?
